A local, artist led fine art, Giclée printing service
With a fine art and design background we realise the importance of colour matching and quality production. We work closely with the artist to achieve the best results that are relevant and priced accordingly. We use an 8 colour aqua ink, Epson 9880, printing up to 44” and a print and cut 54” VSi Roland eco sol ink printer. We can hot and cold mount your prints onto foam board, MDF board, aluminium or even clear perspex to give a modern feel to your art; as well as laminate the prints to sizes over A0.
ABOUT OUR INKS.
We use Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks on our wide format Epson Stylus Pro 9880 printer which has 8 colours and three blacks. It produces excellent colour and black & white prints, excellent picture quality, high colour stability, and optimal colour gradation. Expect long-lasting quality with images colourfast for at least 100 years under glass and away from direct sunlight.
We use the Pinnacle range of fine art and baryta inkjet papers which are ideally suited for giclee and fine art prints. They offer exceptional print quality and value for money. Particular attention has been given to high levels of cotton, or rag fibres which are longer, stronger and more durable than wood fibres to meet Fine Art guild archival requirements of 6 or more on the blue wool scale.
New for 2018 are two more fine art papers from Pinnacle, the 245gsm Watercolour paper which has a high white textured surface, designed to give the impression of a traditional water colour print, and the Soft Textured Etching 310gsm.
We also use Pinnacle Antique Fine Art, Watercolour and Etching on a 24” roll which is a high quality, natural white art paper with a lightly textured surface which prints beautifully.
